StarCaller Academy exists because AI literacy shouldn't require a computer science degree. I came to this work not through engineering, but through project coordination, stakeholder communication, and a deep conviction that the most important technology of our time needs to be understood by the people it affects — not just the people building it.
My background spans multi-workstream project coordination, deadline management, risk identification, and professional writing for audiences ranging from customers and suppliers to agencies and landlords. That experience — keeping complex things moving while keeping everyone informed — is exactly what effective AI education requires. The technology changes fast. The skill of translating it into plain English, matching the explanation to the person in front of you, and never making someone feel stupid for not knowing a term — that's the work.
I follow the AI safety landscape closely, with a practical understanding of LLMs, constitutional AI frameworks, and the principles that should guide how we build and deploy these systems. I can follow technical discussions and translate between engineers and everyone else — which turns out to be the single most useful skill in AI education right now.
